Little Red

If you liked the classic tale, we’re sure you’ll enjoy this version with a twist, too. Opera Carolina, in partnership with Nashville Opera, presents children’s opera “Little Red’s Most Unusual Day” as part of their 2020 Opera On Tour season. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtayIoHdgUU&t=1524s

With theatres and schools shuttered temporarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many children’s musicians have begun performing on their Facebook pages and other online sites.

Several of the artists have performed on either the Davis Theatre stage as part of our Family Shows series, or through the Cabarrus Arts Council’s Students Take Part in the Arts program.

Keep visiting our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CabArtsCouncil/) and website (www.cabarrusartscouncil.org) for upcoming shows we learn about from these performers.

Hobey Ford is a wizard of puppetry who performed in the Davis Theatre in October as part of our Family Shows series. See his creative process at work, shown often on his Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/hobey.ford.

NOTE: Many organizations may have postponed or canceled their events as a precaution to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We advise that you check with the event’s organizer to make sure its activity has not been canceled.
