Every day, before many people begin their morning routines, dedicated Solid Waste Services employees are already at work helping keep Statesville clean, safe and beautiful. From collecting household garbage and recycling to removing yard waste and bulky items, these essential workers provide services that support public health, protect the environment and enhance quality of life.
Communities across the country recognize Waste & Recycling Workers Week, observed this year from June 15–20, 2026.
