Concord convenience store robbed at gunpoint

The Circle K/Marathon station in Concord was robbed early Sunday morning and the Concord Police Department is looking for help in identifying the suspects.

CPD released this statement Tuesday morning:

The Concord Police are requesting assistance identifying two individuals involved in an armed robbery that occurred on March 1, 2020, at approximately 12:43 a.m. Officers responded to the Circle K/Marathon located at 1529 Concord Pkwy North. Two suspects entered the store and forced the clerk to open the cash register. One suspect was armed with a firearm. Both suspects fled the scene on foot.

The suspects are described as:

» Suspect One: a young black male, medium build, approximately 5’7” tall, bright red pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, black Jordan sneakers (possibly 12s), and a black ski mask.

» Suspect Two: a young black male, medium build, approximately 5’7” tall, dark pants, a black jacket, grey hoodie under the jacket, black ski mask, and light brown/white retro style Jordan sneakers. He was armed with a silver firearm.

The Concord Police Department asks that anyone with information as to the identity of the two suspects call 704-920-5000 or Cabarrus Area Crime Stoppers at 704-93-CRIME.
