Rocky River Elementary School and the Concord Police Department recently celebrated the graduation of 5th grade students from the DARE Program. During the ceremony all graduating students received a graduation certificate, and some students received medals for their DARE essays.
DARE continues to be the national leader in educating students of all ages about the dangers of drugs and alcohol abuse. The curriculum has also been expanded to teach students about bullying, internet safety and over-the-counter prescription drug and opiates abuse.
The Concord Police Department said it congratulates each student on their graduation and hopes they will continue to live their lives free from the dangers of drugs and alcohol.
