Free West Avenue express shuttles return to Downtown Kannapolis

This is "lightning," one of two West avenue shuttles
in Kannapolis that open from 5 to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays
through dec. 19. The other is "Thunder."
CITY OF KANNAPOLIS
KANNAPOLIS – The City of Kannapolis' West Avenue Shuttles, "Thunder" and "Lightning", will return to Downtown Kannapolis this summer. The free shuttles began running Friday, April 3, just in time for the first Cannon Ballers homestand.
The shuttles will make a continuous loop between four designated stops: The NCRC public parking deck, the top of the horseshoe sidewalk, First Baptist Church, and the Swanee Theatre. A shuttle will arrive at each stop approximately every 5 minutes. The shuttles are ADA accessible. The shuttles will run now through Dec. 19, from 5 – 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
