Recognize anyone from the Sunday school photo?

The eastern Cabarrus historical society is trying to identify
one of these children and determine when the photo was taken. Let

The Rev. Clegg Avett and the Mount Pleasant Methodist Sunday School children from the early 1950s are shown here.
Most of the children are named, but the Eastern Cabarrus Historical Society could use help identifying one child and determining the photo's date.
Here are the children's names: First row, from left, Linda Fisher McAbee, Gill Russell, Rhonda Smith, Tamera Eberhardt, Shirley Petrea, Mary Lou Eberhardt, Cherry Smith, Barry Eberhardt, Jim Avett, the unidentified child, and Charles Litaker, and second row, Alice Avett, Elaine Lambert Eudy, Maurie Eberhardt, John Litaker, Wallace Avett, Carol Hawkins Isenhour, Barbara Stallings Lambert, Genny Efird Page, Barbara Allman Bost and Gerald Stallings.
