Cabarrus Schools open house schedule and resources page
Cabarrus County Schools begins the new school year for students on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
Families across Cabarrus County will have several opportunities to meet teachers, tour campuses and prepare for the first day of school during Cabarrus County Schools' August open houses.
The district has announced its schedule for the 2026-27 school year, with open houses beginning Aug. 5 for Cabarrus-Kannapolis Early College High and continuing through Aug. 17 for several elementary school kindergarten events.
Most middle schools will host open houses from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6, while traditional high schools and several non-traditional schools will welcome families from 6-8 p.m. that evening.
The majority of elementary schools will hold open houses from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 10. Several schools have modified schedules for kindergarten students or staggered attendance based on grade level or last name.
