Art Walk on Union vendor applications open
Event set for Sept. 12 in downtown Concord
CABARRUS ARTS CALENDAR
Artists and makers are invited to apply now for the 2026 Art Walk on Union, returning to downtown Concord on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Presented by the Cabarrus Arts Council and the city of Concord, Art Walk on Union celebrates creativity, community and local talent throughout downtown Concord. Visitors can stroll Union Street, exploring galleries, shopping with local vendors, and discovering handcrafted artwork from regional artists and makers.
The event will also feature a shuttle to and from ClearWater Arts Center & Studios, giving attendees the opportunity to tour galleries and artist studios during the event.
The Cabarrus Arts Council is currently accepting juried vendor applications from artists ages 18 and older. Applications are open through June 26, and artists will be notified of acceptance in July.
Artists selected to participate will receive a 10-by-10-foot vendor space in the heart of downtown Concord. All artwork must be handmade by the applicant, and submissions should include three high-resolution images representative of the artist's work, along with social media information and a brief description of their creative process.
Vendor spaces are limited to 100 artists. Food vendors are not permitted.
The nonrefundable vendor fee is $80 for accepted applicants. Artists are responsible for providing their own weighted tent and display equipment.
Art Walk on Union is a rain-or-shine event and has become a signature downtown experience connecting local artists, businesses and the community through the arts.
