CHARLOTTE — The Wake Forest University School of Medicine campus in midtown Charlotte — the catalyst for a multilayer transformative healthcare initiative — formally opened its doors Monday.
The Wake Forest University School of Medicine campus in midtown Charlotte features the Levine Center for Education established by Atrium Heath. The Purposeful Walk is a self-guided public tour of the medical campus as part of the revival of historic The Pearl neighborhood.
The front entrance to The Pearl features a mini-amphitheater setting. Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Atrium Health held a grand-opening ceremony June 2 for a Charlotte medical school facility that’s part of The Pearl healthcare campus in the midtown section of the city. It is Wake Forest’s second medical school facility counting its operations on its Ardmore campus in Winston-Salem.
