CONCORD — To kick off National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, NASCAR Cup Series driver Erik Jones joined more than 50 breast cancer survivors as well as officials from Charlotte Motor Speedway and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina in painting the famed race track’s pit wall pink on Tuesday.
More than 50 breast cancer survivors and their supporters took part in the 12th annual Paint Pit Wall Pink ahead of next weekend’s Drive for the Cure 250 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord.
