Still, he said suspect Tyler Robinson, 22, disliked the conservative influencer and "There was clearly a leftist ideology."

Numerous workers were fired for their comments, and conservatives targeted social media users they viewed as offensive or celebratory.

With Vice President JD Vance calling Charlie Kirk “a martyr for Christianity,” some Kirk admirers suggest his assassination will galvanize people to become more engaged in evangelical and Catholic churches.
