Warrick Dunn Charities’ Homes for the Holiday’s Program donated $5,000 in downpayment assistance to Markeisha as well.
CONCORD — Markeisha Douglas thought she was simply finishing up some paperwork on the closing of her new home Tuesday morning. What she got was a greeting from Warrick Dunn.
Kannapolis City Schools Transportation Supervisor Beryl Torrence (left), Markeisha’s (middle) supervisor, was there to celebrate her and Jonquez’s (right) surprise on Tuesday.
Markeisha (in the doorway) enters what she thought was going to be an empty home, but it was fully furnished with a $10,000 donation from Aaron’s and the Carolina Panthers Player Impact Committee as part of Warrick Dunn Charities’ Homes for the Holidays Program.
