Jones, Linda Martin

DAVIDSON Linda Martin Jones, 73, of Davidson, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. She was born Aug. 11, 1943, in Mooresville, to the late John Lewis Martin and Addie Yost Martin. Mrs. Jones was a retired CNA at The Pines in Davidson. She was a member of RiverLife Fellowship Church in Mooresville and attended the Crowns of Glory Senior Citizen Group. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of 38 years, James "Dwight" Jones; daughters, Terry Helton (Troy), Lisa Tilley (William); sisters, Frankie Knox (Doyle), Diane Beam (Larry); grandchildren, Steve, Jason, and Jeremy Helton, Steven and Garrett Kelly; and great grandchildren, JayLynn, Katelyn, Connor, Colton, Ali Marie, and Jody Wayne Kelly, Wyatt, Nolan, and Ethan Helton. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 14, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Byron Wicker officiating.
