Nancy B. Jordan CONCORD Mrs. Nancy Broadway Jordan of Fryling Ave. passed away Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015 at the Tucker Hospice House. Her funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at McGill Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Steve Ayers. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Monday at the church. Nancy was born July 6, 1936 in Concord to the late E.E. Broadway and Helen Edwards Broadway. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Earl Broadway. She was retired from a local hosiery mill. Nancy was a member of McGill Baptist Church and the "Joy Club" at the church. Her life revolved around family and church. When doing Joy Club, she enjoyed decorating and dressing up. She always made holidays special for her family. Nancy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Dink Jordan; daughter, Julie J. Thomas and husband Conrad; sons, Danny Jordan and wife Daphne, and Monty Jordan and wife Robin, all of Concord; grandchildren, Jordan Thomas, Taylor Thomas, Craig Jordan, Laurin Perkins, Amanda Jordan and Kristen Jordan; great-grandchild, Wyatt Perkins; sister, Betsy B. Graham and husband Lex; brother, Chuck Broadway and wife Becky; and a number of nieces and nephews.
