Susan Keating CONCORD Susan Lynette Boone Keating, 53, of 8601 Boones Farm Rd., died at her home, Thursday, July 18, 2013. "Susie" was the daughter of Kenneth Lee Boone, of Ridgeway, S.C. and Nancy Poston Boone, of Concord. She was a graduate of A.L. Brown High and attended Kings College. She was a homemaker. The funeral service for Susie will be held today (Sunday, July 21), at 3:30 p.m., at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Pastor Bob Young. Entombment will be at Carolina Memorial Park Plaza Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 p.m., before the service, at Whitley's. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Kenneth Keating, of Concord; a daughter, Kristina Keating, of the home; two brothers, Paul Boone and wife, Betsy, of Concord and Bob Boone and wife, Sue, of Kannapolis; and sister, Tink Boone Wade and husband, Bud, of Concord.
