Alexander Miles Dotson CONCORD Alexander "Alex" Miles Dotson, 21, passed away Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, in Germantown, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Ralph Hager will officiate. Interment will follow at West Concord Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at Lady's Funeral Home. Alex was born July 24, 1993, in Lexington, Ky. He was a son of Miles Micheal Dotson, of Germantown, Ohio and Michele Shawn Holt Dotson, of Concord. He worked for Point Source as an electrical assembler. Alex was an avid guitarist, having designed and built his own guitar. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially hiking, camping and kayaking. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Ron and Kay Holt, of Haleyville, Ala and Elmer and Glenetta Dotson, of Majestic, Ky.; and two aunts and uncles, Donna and Rex Ward and Chris and Lisa Holt, and their children. Also surviving are his stepsister, Kayla Highfield and stepbrother, Tyler Highfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Realm of Caring Foundation, P.O.
