Drake, Robin Elizabeth

CONCORD Robin Elizabeth Drake, 60, passed away Tuesday morning, Nov. 6, 2018, at the Brian Center of Concord, following a brief illness. Born May 6, 1958, in Cabarrus County, Robin was a daughter of Clark and Gloria Crisco Drake. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret "Meg" Drake; and her grandparents, Joseph Michael "Cleo" and Fanny "Ruth" Phelps Drake, and Roy McIver and Pauline Mary Trexler Crisco. Robin had worked for UNC-Charlotte's Atkins Library for 39 years, where she was a catalog technician. A loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend of many, Robin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her parents, include her siblings, Dougas and Lori Drake, Julie Bingham and Paula Deese; and her much loved nieces and nephews, Sarah, Mark, Tanner, Allison, Kristen (Andrew), Ava and Shelby. Memorial services to remember and celebrate Robin's life will be held Sunday, Nov. 18, at 1:30 p.m., at Jackson Park U.M.C., conducted by THE Rev. Dr. Greg Gordon, pastor. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park at a later date.
