Redshirt sophomore Luke Gilbertson, who played at Hickory Ridge High School, announced he will be leaving Gardner-Webb and entering the transfer portal on Jan. 2. The linebacker made 18 tackles this season for the Running Bulldogs and forced three fumbles.
