The West Cabarrus Lady Wolverines used an eight-point run at the end of the first quarter to give themselves some breathing room in their game against Central Cabarrus, taking a seven-point lead in what had been a back-and-forth game into the second period. Once they got that lead, West never gave it back. Central never got closer than five points the rest of the night, and West Cabarrus got a 67 to 49 win.
