This UNC System chart sorts recent N.C. high school graduates into four categories based on high school grades and standardized test scores. Students in the top right quadrant meet both standards and could be considered for admission to a UNC System school. A proposed change to the UNC System minimum standards means students represented by red dots (met grades but not test scores) and aqua dots (met test scores but not grades) would be considered for admission starting in fall 2021. Students represented by blue dots (short in both GPA and test scores) still would not be considered for admission to any of North Carolina's 16 public universities.
Early voting starts Thursday, and two Greensboro universities have one-stop voting sites on their campuses.
