Since the 19th century, Labor Day has represented a celebration of the American worker — Labor Day is all about you. We honor the contributions of our incredible workforce and celebrate the men and women whose labor and innovation keep our nation strong. The United States has always had the world’s most talented workforce, and one of my priorities in Congress is ensuring all workers are equipped with the tools they need to find a good-paying job and succeed in the 21st century.
