While we often assume Alzheimer’s Disease only impacts older individuals, there are approximately 200,000 people (or the equivalent population of Cabarrus County) in the nation living with Early-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease. Some of these people are in their 40s and 50s (potentially a person the same age as me). As an Alzheimer’s advocate, it is my honor to represent each of these individuals and our community toward breakthroughs that will prevent and effectively treat all forms of Alzheimer’s Disease by 2025.
The fight against Alzheimer’s continues
