I am writing to thank the Kannapolis and Concord communities for sharing the true meaning of Christmas with children in need this past holiday season. Through the generosity of Cabarrus County, we were able to collect 24,713 shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child, a project of the international Christian relief organization, Samaritan’s Purse.
