Barber-Scotia College announced this week a groundbreaking partnership with RHC Workforce Solutions, an international workforce development firm and U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship provider.
Together, it launches Barber-Scotia’s first nationwide apprenticeship and continuing education program, a major step forward in expanding workforce pathways for its students and adult learners.
Highlights of the program
This innovative program will:
Provide paid apprenticeship opportunities
Offer industry-recognized certifications
Connect learners with careers in high-demand industries, including construction, manufacturing, green energy, artificial intelligence, media, and film

The RHC Workforce model
Through RHC Workforce Solutions’ proven model, participants will gain:

Virtual and in-person technical training
One-on-one coaching and mentorship
Career advancement opportunities across the U.S. and abroad
Barber-Scotia officials said this program also supports the HBCU Global Workforce Exchange Initiative, expanding opportunities for international learning and career mobility for the future.
