BLESSINGS, ARK. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team finished runner-up at the seventh Blessings Collegiate Invitational on Monday at Blessings Golf Club, hosted by Arkansas.
Graduate student B.J. Boyce won the individual title after moving up seven spots in the final round, totaling a five-under-par (211) scorecard. This was his first collegiate win.

UNCG posted a seven-under-par (281) for the best score of round three.
UNCG and Arkansas were the only teams to card under-par scores during round three.
The Razorbacks claimed the team title with rounds of 273-298-287 for a six-under-par (858) performance.
The Spartans totaled a 16-over-par (880) three-round overall score, finishing 11 strokes better than third-place North Texas, which had a 27-over-par (891).
UNCG finished second in par threes (3.20), par fours (4.18), par fives (4.98), birdies (41) and pars (160).
Boyce won his first collegiate tournament behind rounds of 71-76-64 for a five-under-par (211).
His eight-under-par (64) round three score was one stroke off the Blessings Collegiate Invitational low round individual score set by Algot Kleen from LSU in 2024, a nine-under-par (63), also in round three.
Kelvin Hernandez tied for 10th out of 49 competitors with his three-round total of four-over-par (220). He fired rounds of 69-78-73.
Reese Sanders, who tied for 18th, improved six spots after his even-par (72) round of the tournament. He totaled a 10-over-par (226) three-day score.
Will Guidry placed 26th on the player leaderboard following rounds of 77-77-76 and a 14-over-par (230) tournament total.
After rounds of 80-79, Jake Lewis fired an even-par (72) third round to move up 12 positions, tying for 27th overall. He finished with a 15-over-par (231).
