Cabarrus Dance Academy will present their 79th Annual Showcase on Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10, at the Kannapolis Performing Arts Center. This year’s recital theme is “Dancing Inside Out,” and will explore all the feelings and emotions! The show will be presented in four segments, featuring the graduating Seniors, the Lee-ettes, Ballet Company, CDA Proteges, and dancers aged 2.5 and up.

Cabarrus Dance Academy will present its 79th Annual Showcase on Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10, at the Kannapolis Performing Arts Center. This year’s recital theme is “Dancing Inside Out,” and will explore all the feelings and emotions. The show will be presented in four segments, featuring the graduating seniors, the Lee-ettes, Ballet Company, CDA Proteges, and dancers aged 2.5 and up. Dancers finishing five, 10 and 15 years of training will also be honored. Recital times are Friday, May 9, at 6:30 p.m. (2nd-5th grades), Saturday May 10, at 10:30 a.m. (pre-school), 2:30 p.m. (kindergarten-first grades), and 6:30 p.m. (middle and high school). General admission is free. A limited number of reserved seats can be purchased online at http://30326.danceticketing.com/r/events/. The production is under the direction of Laurie Flora and Jennifer Wedner, along with their staff: Alisha Almond, Hillman Brown, Debbie Clay, Alison Davis, Anna Davis, Korighan Gabriel, Alyssa Gray, Rachel Horne, Maddy Howard, Tammy Jordan (owner), Jordan Karas, Stacey Lewis, Ashley Meendering, Katie Montalto, Lisa Niblock, Missy Parks, Olivia Rosenthal and Jayme Yodice.
