Halloween Spooky Hoopla is a trunk-or-treat event with bounce houses, gaming truck, hayride, haunted trail and more. The event is free; food will be available for purchase from food truck vendors.
Movie-ween

"Zoinks!" Grab your blanket and join us on the Great Lawn for an outdoor showing of Scooby Doo (2002) as we watch the gang solve a mystery on Spooky Island. Add a little extra fun to this year's event by entering our Scooby-Doo costume contest and dressing up as your favorite member of the Mystery, Inc. crew. Whether you're channeling Daphne, Velma, Scrappy or Scooby himself, we can't wait to see your costumes. Popcorn, s'mores and candy will be available for purchase from the concession stand.
Halloween Safari
Friday and Saturday, October 23 and 24 | 7–9 p.m. | Piedmont Environmental Center, 1220 Penny Road, High Point
No tricks, but plenty of surprises await you on PEC's trails. As you make your way through the darkened woods, you will meet "animals" who share interesting details about their lives during this educational experience. Safari hikes last about 45 minutes. Afterwards, apple cider, cookies and a campfire will complete this unusual Halloween adventure.
